Congrats, similar to you have always been a 6MT guy, only DCT exposure was when I test drove a frozen grey E92 M3 w/DCT prior to putting my order in.

Besides the fact this is your third M3, I like that your first mod was the ESS 625. This leaves you a little room for the more petty mods....

Car looks great man. I love the space grey my favorite color on the M. Congrats on your forth M3 dude at this rate I'm sure your next car will be an M4 but with that much power from the ESS VT it will be hard to go backwards. ENJOY!

Looks awesome!! Its EDC right? Do the H&R springs still give you good ride quality? Is it worth the extra inch or so drop? Im looking to do the same on my '13 E92 Zcp.

Thanks boss, the DCT is better with the blower IMO but slightly less fun if that makes any sense. The DCT delivers the power a lot easier and faster but blower + 6mt is pretty dang entertaining and lots of fun!! so I would have to say it would depend on the individual but for my needs if I would had to chose I would say DCT+blower is prob the best option for "ME"

You do and you don't. I have had both and both have their strengths and weaknesses. With that it all depends on the indiv and their driving style/needs

I also have the space grey and love it...only complaint is that it does show dirt easier vs the lighter metallic colors, especially in wetter weather/dirtier roads. But would still choose it if I had to do over again.
Thank you. congrats on your SG. I actually feel as though the SG hides the dirt very well. I think this color is going to be a lot easier to maintain for me over my last colored M.

Its just one of those things when you are a die hard mt guy you dont see the needs. however as the days go by I am really enjoying the DCT. Its very fun

ITs actually my 5th e92M3 and yes where do you go from there! and I guess you can say my style is go big at the beginning and save yourself time and money since you most likely are going to end up there anyways lol.

Thank you very much. Yes the plan is next one will be the m4 but its sooooo far away from now who knows. Im sure that ESS will have some great power/tune upgrades for the new M4's when they come out!

yes its EDC. you know I had the eibachs on a couple of the M's and I really enjoyed the ride quality but I wanted something a little lower but not crazy. I have ran the hnr on the last two M;s and its actually very manageable and smooth. Now keep in mind I do not travel at high speeds but more around regular driving speeds. From what I have heard from a view is at high speeds the HnR get a little bouncy but I can't confirm that myself.

Beautiful car and color. SG and AW have to be my favorite colors. When you say this is your final e92 M3 do you mean youre hanging on to this one for a long time or just not getting anymore M's? Congrats by the way.

Extremely nice, and very tasteful.

I wish our climate was a little more like yours!

Did you do any dyno runs with the Akra only (before the supercharger install).

since the e92M are coming to a end I wont have a chance to get another one so Ill be forced to hold on to this one for a while. the new M4 wont be out for a while In the meantime I dont think I will be unhappy with this set up to hold me over

Solvang, Santa Ynez, Los Olivos this small little area is so beautiful this time of the year. When I shot these pics I headed out to hills where are the wineries are and as you know its just breath taking out here. Def a must visit for any couples who are looking for a place to get away.

lol you know mr thomas was telling me everyday, dude get the M5, get the M5 lol but for me the car is just a tad to big for my liking. I really dont have any need for all that room I couldn't get myself to get it. I just love the e92M platform it fits me and my lifestyle perfect.

I did not. Tom@Eas did the stock dyno vs the SC dyno. I will say my last M when I went from stock to Akra + ESS tune was a huge difference. I could really feel the increase in power over the stock with the exhaust and tune. If you are on the fence about the akra or akra evo I would highly recommend you go for it. Its a great addition!

I dont see myself going away from 6mt forever however this DCT is getting dare I say more awesome by the mile? At the end of the day the 6mt has its perks and so does the DCT. They are both win win IMO.
