The light bars do not line up. Looks horrid. i just pulled the trigger on the trunk swap...hopefully the LCI looks okay on graphite.

what are all the parts you need to do the full swap? Just the 4 light assemblies, or you need to change your trunk for a E90? By naked eye, it looks like all 4 light assemblies are 100% swappable, so not sure why you need a trunk swap in your case?

trunk will also need to be replaced. there's an lci style for the pre lci trunk, that looks pretty good.

I'm interested in seeing pics. Mine is Sparkling Graphite as well and the LCI mod is on my list of thinks I'd like to do.

Nope. The inner tail lights on the trunk are a different shape and are in fact, wider than the non-lci trunk tail lights. I was surprised but held the two up to each other. It would be like putting a square peg in a bangle-butt hole.

Someone has already done the retrofit, but i'll be adding a performance spoiler as well.

You would need the lci tail lights and an lci trunk! One of the best cosmetic mods I've done to the car. I went with the euro lci tail lights, which blink amber. Add a cf performance spoiler and you got one sexy rear end

so it sounds like E92's are direct swaps, but $1.5k - $2k for E90?! that's good money you can put into BBK...
