Nothing wrong with the wrap, but won't last long term as others have said. Not worth it in my book. Needs more go, not more show.
Kansas to Indiana doesn't seem like much of a forward leap.

Damn that does look good! Would give me another reason to pop the hood at the fuel station since there's no dip stick in the beast

I think he spent a little too much time in the "Power and Light" district...

Those parts of the engine don't get too hot. Maybe on a summer day running it hard it may get too hot. But I've always been able to put my hand on it without getting burned.

However, don't do it. Vinyl is cheap. Go real CF if you have to.

Cheers.

Doesn't the engine heat cause discoloration. The CF engine covers on my previous Audi RS4 turned green from the engine heat. Of course, those were much closer to the actual block.

Dangerous? No. Stupid? IMO, yes. Why not just put a rice cooker under there? I still don't understand this undying urge to slather CF patterns on everything. Honestly, we should go back to the chrome age.

I've seen some heavily CF'd engine bays and I think it just looks terrible no matter what the car is.

To each their own... just didn't really like KC that much, nothing really around. Though I met a good bunch of people out that way and miss their company. The BMW following though was much better than Indianapolis for sure. Enjoy the new town!

When I posted that I thought he was talking about actual carbon parts and not vinyl stickers. I would never put carbon stickers on any car, anywhere.

Yeah there really is nothing around. I really wish I was back in CA. The car scene is dead here. Having to put my car away for months at a time is a huge bummer.

If you are into this stuff, KC Trends puts together something called Fast Fridays (probably when it warms up). I am not into that type of crowd but some nice cars show up (kind of like cars and coffee but at night). KC Trends on 136th St, I use to live at the appartments across the street from there.

Yeah I know all about it. I think it starts back up in April though.
