Going out of town for tire launch event

Following this afternoon, I will be out of town for a long weekend to attend a launch event for a new extreme-performance tire. I will be back on Wednesday the 23rd. We are not allowed to post details before the event, but rest assured that I will post relevant info and driving impressions as soon as possible.

They have asked that we keep it confidential, and right now I only know 1 brand for sure. But once the event is over I'll be able to post all the info.

The Maxx RT is not "Extreme Performance" class tire. Neither is the Pilot Super Sport. Those are "Max Performance" class and are one step down.

Extreme Performance tires have greater grip and performance on track/autocross sacrificing longevity and streetability.

Who knows.. Toyo is due for a new extreme performance tire. The R1R they have is not doing well against the competition.
