I'm looking by the gearknob and handbrake area. That's all ungrained plastics. If there's one thing the GT-R gets dinged on, it's the cheap plastics in the interior. I was kind of hoping this would be able to match the Viper's interior. But you are right, maybe the higher versions will have something else in store. I'm really starting to warm up to this car, sounds amazing too.

Considering I'm a quality engineer in the auto industry, I'd say I'm pretty good at it. Anything else you'd like to add?

It is too for me. That front end looks so much better than the Viper and the rear end looks better everytime I look at it. In terms of value vs performance, I don't think you'll be able to beat this car.

you are right. i have considered a z06 recently because its such an unbeatable track rat stock. this looks to be pretty formidable as well. i will have to see in person. the tail section bugs me a little as does the straight on front view. looks better in the darker color, space grey or whatever it is.

The red c7 on stage looks good. The other renders look too busy. Now lets see what it can do and how it feels on track!!

So MSRP for a very base model is going to be 53 to 55k...not bad at all BUT fully loaded 3LT with Z51 package could easily hit 70k....not sure how i feel about that

I dont think it'll hit $70k. Atleast I hope not, but I can definitely see $65K. Still WAY below the overpriced competition

I hope you're right

$53kMSRP+Brembos+3LT+Sport seats+Z51+CF roof can add up quick

Guess we'll have to wait and find out what all is included in that 3LT package(which seats and if NAV is part of it)

They finally got rid of the fat man seats and put in some decent ones that actually hold you in.

Agree, that looks steep for a non-Z06/ZR1 Vette.

I like it. A lot.

The car world is a better place with this thing in the mix. They seem to have systematically addressed every one of the "yeah, but..." comments that are often leveled at 'vettes. Interior especially.

So optional track seats that appear to resemble Sportster CS, Z51 package w/ magnetic ride control, Brembos, 450 hp/tq, combined 26 mpg, ~3300 lbs., LSD, proper cooling all around, effective aero.. for $60-65k MSRP? Holy shit.

Based on what I've seen/heard so far, I would absolutely consider it. And I'm about the furthest thing from a Corvette customer. Unless you're repulsed by the looks, how could you not?? Looking forward to the reviews.

That's Lambo-esque.

The more I see this car the more I'm digging it, much more than the 4 series concept so far.

I'm still anti-GM after getting screwed on the bail out. Besides, the new NSX looks like it'll be sexier than the Chevy.

Isn't the NSX supposed to be a hybrid? No thanks!

It will probably also cost at least twice the price of the C7.

Price will be an issue with the NSX. I wonder how much the NSX will weight with the V6 plus the three electric motors.
