Samsung galaxy S3

Hey guys I just upgraded my iPhone 4 up to an S3! Loving the phone so far but man it's a big difference from an apple phone. I am loving the huge screen and the swipe texting but the spell check isn't as nice as the 4.

Just curious, what are some good apps/widgets for this? Ive been with Apple for the last 4 years so I'm completely clueless when it comes to this phone lol

how much bigger is the S3 than the iphone? I'm upgrading soon.

I just did the same thing as well. I upgraded to an S3 from a 4s.
The only reason I picked up the 4s was due to my F10 being so iPhone friendly. I decided to just open a new line and keep the iPhone in the car and get the S3 for personal use. I always hated the iPhone and am glad to not have to use it on a daily basis outisde of BMW online.

What about battery life? Anything to make it better?

I have it as well, less intuitive than the apple product, but better capabilities.

android standard i believe is hold on the images and the options should appear just like a browser. screenshot should be home button + power... unless they changed it in the S3 OS.

Just hold home and power button for screenshot. I can't really get that hand swipe thing to work

I went to s3 from iPhone as well recently and could not get used to the keyboard and the inaccurate autocorrect. I found swift key to be the closest to iPhone keyboard since it learns your "style" through, email, Facebook, twitter, and such.

For screenshot, I used to use the swipe to capture function, but got really annoyed cause when you swipe your hand, the whole screen moves while taking taking the screen shot. Just press the home button and the power button for couple of seconds and this takes screen shot as well.

Yeah, but I have a feeling the S5 will be better and then the S6 will most likely top all of the models before.

I love my S3. I can honestly say that I've never needed to use a screen shot. What's up with that?

Not as soon as you think but for people who just upgraded or got the S3 it'll be just as good as the S4.

Check out this Samsung Youm keynote at CES, pretty interesting. There is a rumor that the screen may be unbreakable since it won't need glass to cover it, remember grains of salt.
