Maybe I should throw this stat out there also. The 15 win Lakers currently have, Kobe scored 30 point or less 9 times.

ya prolly cause he didnt need to cause others made their open shots. but then again they beat sub par teams so all these numbers means nothing.

thats true game, im just being pessimistic and thinking for the worse case senario. fell into a deep depression cause of this funk. No NBA writer/coach/GM thought the lakers with this lineup wouldnt even make the playoffs. hope they go into a long winning streak after the allstar break and turn things around.

Maybe you should throw this stat out there. Why don't you look at his complete game and career. Championships won. Sub par players he has carried to a championship oh yeah and why don't you compare his shot attempts to Jordan.

Unfortunately haters will always be haters but the one thing you will be upset about ALWAYS. He is headed to the hall of fame and will go down as arguably one of the top 2 to ever play the game.

I could care less if he shoots 50 times and scores over 40 a night. At least someone on the team will be scoring because right now the rest of the players suck.

Hate to tell you that if Meeks, MWP, Hill and I could go on were on any other GOOD team they would be warming the bench. Outside of Pau and Howard, Kobe is surrounded by a bunch of "C" players or players that "were" good.

Why? We are talking about this season and this season alone.

Speaking of Jordan, he averaged 50% career FG% and 30PPG along with 5 Assist and 6 rebound

Watching the Lakers/Spurs game, their defense is just bad! I do like the guys that are stepping up for Gasol/Howard. They play with heart, especially Earl Clark, he gets the job done on the PF position. Box out, get rebounds, knock down wide open jump shots and he plays smart. He's doing exactly what Gasol was capable of doing. MWP is playing well offensively but I still don't get how can you suck so bad on defense, don't you just HELP out your teammates when they are a step behind? Seems like they don't care for the team, just looking good for themselves...

They actually played good D in the 4th quarter with the addition of SA making silly TO's down the stretch... pretty close game for down "2 of the best big men" in the league. I still think Clark deserve to be on the court more, though.

They fought back and had a good run but Manu made a dagger 3 close to the end... Capt. Jack pretty much made a 5pt possession for the Lakers but Kobe failed to hit the game tying 3... he didn't force it, just missed.
