A BMW wrist watch based on M3 Design

This is a rather cool wrist watch that originally attracted my attention because it's the "BMW" edition...even though it was not an "M3" version.

However, I was fascinated by the detail and quality of their videos, and went on to their "Collections" video. In this one, the presenters are flipping through several pages of the E90/E92/E93 catalog and drawing parallels [sorry] with the body and curvatures of the M3 and then to specific design elements of their watch.

Later they pick up lighting elements from the F30's instrumentation cluster.

It is actually a better commercial for BMW than BMW makes for their own cars. LOL.

When one wants a cabriolet, is there really any other choice than an M3? No. No, there's not.

Quick Googling and it looks like they are about $4,000+

Maybe I missed it in the video, but does it come with a leather or textile band? Not a fan of metal bands. I like the look of the face a lot, but don't care for the case and lug size/shape - not at $4k anyway.

If you're looking for a sweet watch a bit more reasonably priced, check out TW Steel. I have a few. Here's their Dario Franchitti

No chrono. Not one of the top brands IMO. Sure hope its not $4k or they will sell about 2.
