That's the thing- under the hood it says dakar yellow. But the shade is off. Apparently the previous owner painted it a darker shade of yellow.

you should try to track down the history of the car. you never know what kind of damage it might have been in

No damage. It was stolen once and resprayed apparently. I looked the car over for frame/ bodywork when I bought it. Can't believe I missed the respray, but In my defense it was dark outside.

I already am. I took it on some back roads last night. Almost as much fun as riding a bike.

Thanks!
BBS RS-GT in 18x8.5 +30 front and 18x9.5 +35 rear. Thought about selling it, but when it came time to post the ad, I couldn't get myself to do it. Every time I drive it, it amazes me that a car built in 1995 (17 years ago) drives this well.

I just bought a 2013 328i and I love it but what it really made me realize is that I STILL want an E36 M3. Even $17k is reasonable considering how fun the car is to drive.

You have a great memory!
![]() Seriously, very nice set up. In the pictures the car looks more "stock" than your list of upgrades would suggest. ( I like that ). Thanks for posting and OP, thank you too! ![]()
