Seems like a great deal to me especially with the mods and factory equipment included. Any unknowns such as prior body damage, motor/transmission abuse, etc? Is the sale from a private owner? If so, perhaps have the local BMW or Indy shop conduct a inspection.

It is from a private party I'm trying to have somebody inspect the car before I buy it but for some reason the BMW in Texas said they do not offer such services .. any suggestions of a shop that would do that in the Texas area

I thought I got a good deal! I bought one just a month ago with 7800 miles just under 50k.

You might want to check that it really has competition package....from what i recall while doing the research...it is a 2011 option only.

Thank found one there and scheduled for them to look at it on the day I get there.
Also since the car still has a year and half left of warranty should it be a big deal since the warranty has the free maintenance plan ?

Provided that it passed inspection by the Indy shop, I would agree the remaining warranty should be enough. You can always buy an extended warranty through any BMW dealer.
