Winter tires/wheels that work for 2009 M3?
Hello. I have the19 inch wheel package on my car. I do not believe they make winter tires for the car in this size.
Therefore what have you all done? Purchase 18 inch steel wheels? What size winter tires? |

Plenty of options, more in 18. Have a look at the various threads in the Wheel/Tire forum that will give you plenty of ideas.

As others have stated there are 19" winter tire options available for the e9x M3. However, I bought a set of Team Dynamics ProRace 1.2 wheels in 18"x8" and 18"x9", and am running a 235/40 F and 255/40 R Dunlop 3D staggered setup - great setup for cold dry/wet and light-moderate snow conditions. Not great in deep snow and icy conditions but that's expected for a winter performance tire.

Discount Tire is wrong. Go to the Tire Rack website. I'm using Bridgestone Blizzak LM60 performance winter tires on the stock ZCP 19x9"/19x10" wheels. Tire sizes are 255/35-19 and 275/35-19. Pirelli also makes 19" snow tires, as do others.

BMW makes a set of winter wheels, style 270 M, for the M3 that are 18x8et20, non-staggered setup. The OEM recommended winter tire size is 235/40-18.
However, a lot members, including me, run 18" and 19" staggered winter setups that perform just fine... |

Nope--clears just fine. Slightly lowered on Dinan suspension.
