Need tires/wheels between ATL and Sebring, FL

I realize this is a crazy request but trying to get creative here...

A friend and I are looking at driving down to Sebring for a track event in January from Ohio. Wearing the snow shoes until about TN/GA and then need to find some trackable rubber once the temps warm up.

Does anyone have anything between a Summer Performance tire (PSS) to a slick? I might pack/ship my track rims (18x10) down or look to buy a used set - not sure what is most cost effective.

Interested in renting or buying used wheels, tires or both in 18" or 19" but for a reasonable price, not over $1500/set.
