Shipments to Canada

I noticed you specified a US address for your order. I ship the jack pad tools and lug bolt guide tools direct to Canada at no additional charge. Let me know if you want to change the address. Your order will ship via USPS Priority Mail on Monday.

I have not had a chance to add a blemished tool category and a bundled tool category to the shopping cart on my new website yet. But you can still find this promotion at the Specials page of my old site.

Edited 15-Dec-2013. The old site is no longer available. Here's a link to the bundle promotion.

What do you mean "blemished tool"?

Ironically I was searching for a jack pad and bolt guide on Amazon today, but the lug bolt guide is made from steel. I'd prefer the durability of steel, is it offered at the same pack price?

I meant to say "bundled" tool category. But I am also adding a "blemished" tool category for slightly damaged jack pad tools, lug bolt guides, and ramps.

The bundle offer is only for the aluminum tools because I am phasing them out once the supply is exhausted. I still have several hundred aluminum tools in stock so this promotion will continue to run for awhile.

The stainless steel tools are about 5X the strength of the aluminum tools. But the aluminum tools are no longer worth selling since the Post Office has increased the minimum package weight (and mailing cost) to twice the weight of the aluminum tools.

Fortunately for me thousands of BMW owners are not satisfied with a minimal solution and opt for the extra features of the Reverse Logic design.

All of the jack points on BMW chassis are not the same width and length. The large radius on the top edges allows the block to be the maximum width without forcing the block against the walls of the jack points with more narrow pockets. We offer tools with a shorter block for chassis which use the E88 jack point.

The Silicone plugs allow you to suspend the tool from the jack point while positioning a floor jack or the arms of a 2-post lift. But, if you don't want or need this feature we offer a less expensive multi-vehicle tool. This tool works in any BMW chassis, most MB chassis, and the Nissan GT-R. So even our minimal design priced at $26.95 (including shipping) offers more flexibility than competing products because it works with more vehicle brands.

The two piece design (block and base) allows me to produce larger runs of bases and make short runs of the blocks for chassis with a lower sales volume. I am also able to share jack pad components with jack stands including other vendor's stands.

In the near future I will be offering a tool for Audi chassis. I also expect to start selling the blocks separately for owners who have more than one type of car with jack points that incorporate an integrated vehicle jack pocket.

Don't forget they charge $7 for shipping (On Amazon), so $27.

Compac 90541 floor jacks

One of the most frequent questions I receive from customers is "Which floor jack do you recommend using with your jack pad tools?"

I have always been reluctant to recommend the inexpensive import floor jacks since most of them get terrible reviews. The $219 aluminum Sears jack, that I paid $125 for on sale, has not failed me in 6 years, but, gets some of the worst reviews.

I decided to add two of the "UPSable" Compac floor jacks to my product offerings. These heavy steel jacks made in Denmark have a great reputation for quality. Spare parts are available and they come with a 3-year warranty. When I inquired about which spare parts to stock, the importer told me he hasn't sold a single rebuild kit or made any warranty repairs in two years.

The Compac floor jacks have a removable saddle with a 25mm stem. I will soon be offering a jack pad tool with a 25mm stem which can be used in place of the floor jack saddle. I should have that available sometime in September. At that point I will delete this thread and start a new one with the floor jack and jack pad tool bundle.

I will be selling the entry level 90530 model and the low profile 90541 model. Check out this You Tube video with the 90541 model jacking up a 3-Series.

http://www.reverselogic.us/shop.html...0&sort=nameAsc

Update 12-Sep-2013: I added a couple of photos of the 90541 jack along side a typical low profile jack. The extended length 90541 jack frame combined with its low height allow the saddle to reach the central jacking point without restricting the travel of the handle.

The lug bolt guide tools are 117mm long. As long as the depth of the lug bolt hole in the wheel plus the thickness of the spacer are not more than about 90mm the tool should be long enough. The lug bolt guide tool will help you keep the holes in the spacer and wheel aligned.

Clearance price for blemished Reverse Logic R50JPT tools for BMW

Several cartons of the R50JPT bases were dropped in shipping and I have an abundance of blemished R50JPT tools with minor cosmetic damage. The tools are 100% functional. I am clearing these out at below cost for $20 including shipping to any destination in the USA. These blemished tools do not include the free lug bolt guide tool. I have at least 50 blems available. Here's the link to the clearance R50JPTs:

New lower priced jack pad tool from Reverse Logic

Reverse Logic is now offering a new simpler design of the jack pad tool for the BMW chassis. The block and base are clear anodized 2024 aluminum which is stronger than 6061 aluminum. The 52mm length and 30mm width of the block is the same as the block used on our modified Torin jack stands. However the height is just under 19mm. So this jack pad tool will also fit the Nissan GT-R and a few Mercedes chassis which use the W221 jack point.

The new tool, model MV52-30-19 does not incorporate the Silicone plugs. It uses one M10x1.5 bolt to attach the block to the base. I prefer the two piece design since I can share the bases across my Audi, BMW, GT-R, and Mercedes tools. This design also uses a minimum amount of material compared to one piece designs machined from a solid piece of aluminum. The central bolt also allows the tools to be configured with a stem for use with floor jacks which have removable saddles or some four-arm lifts. I currently offer the stems in a 30mm, and 35mm diameters and will be adding a 25mm diameter stem in the near future.

Unlike our R50 chassis specific tool the new tool fits *all* BMW chassis with an integrated vehicle jack pocket in the jack point.

The price for the new tool is $24.95 including shipping to any destination in the USA. The MV52-30-19 tool is made in the USA in Philadelphia, PA.

25mm pin for bottom of jack pad tool

I finally got around to making some 25mm pins for the bottom of the jack pad tools. Although the pins can be used with the jack pad tools with Silicone plugs, it does not really make sense to do so.

Here's a couple of photos of the MV52-30-19 tool with the 25mm pin. The second photo shows how the tool works with a floor jack that has a removable saddle.

http://www.reverselogic.us/shop.html...07&id=29025543

If you order the tool with the 25mm pin it is shipped with two bolts. A long one for use with the 25mm pin, and a shorter one for use with out the pin.

The tool can also be ordered with a 30mm pin for floor jacks with a larger stem on the saddle.
