2013 Unused Fuse Location
I read (Latebreaking's DIY V1 install), the 2008 - 2010\11's have an unused fuse (#5).
Does anyone know of similar situation with the newer models? Searched around but missed it, it the info is out there. |

Search. The v1 install has been covered with fuse tap or using the "green and whit wire" in the front seat light/sunroof........" area

Yes, I've read those installs. While it's easier. If I use the green wire in the headliner and that wire later develops issues, it will be a ton of work to fix. That's why I decided to go with the fuse method.

I used Fuse #5 to wire my V1 in a 2013. It should be unused. I also think it's a far better solution than using one of the wires in the headliner. It's about a 10 minute install.
