Strong enough to hold 200-300lbs easy, check out their stuff. They're known for their extremely strong splitter design with out the use of rods.

Here is a pic from their FB page...

That's my car, though it's back to pretty much stock now though. It's plenty strong enough, I scraped it over 50 times, slammed into the ground with it over 20 times, bumped into a curb with it once, and my friends kept standing on it without permission and taking photos of it and texting it to me because they thought it was funny. There are supports, though tucked away, and the material itself (I have no idea what it is) is insanely durable.

Here's a thread to my car's build back when it was modded if you want to follow along. Only mods on it now are the Downforce cosmetic bits and KW Clubsports with Brembo BBK, it's going back to daily driver duties with my relocation to Miami. www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=650302

Edit: Here's a photo of my friends. This is them standing on the version 1, which was just less cosmetically pleasing than the updated version you see in the posted photos.

Wow that's really impressive! Platte Forme is killing it! I'd be scared of strangers standing on my lip, but this one looks sturdy. How big of a difference in downforce have you noticed? I'm sure it's A LOT

lol Yeah, thankfully they weren't strangers, but for people who know what splitter this is, I guess they might want to try it out for fun too. Yeah, the downforce was definitely noticeable, just took a bit of adjusting my rear wing to match the front splitter.

Can you imagine why I'm driving with stock wheels and don't have big sponsor letters on my car?

... think about it.
How cool would that be?

Whether you can do this or not isn't really relevant. It's a bad mounting method without any way to avoid heal-toe on the fasteners. Connecting rods allow you to react the loads on the splitter. Repeated loading like this will eventually lead to the fasteners failing (or pull thru on the composite).

Oh, and those guys look like giant tools.
