I dropped my waffle weave drying towel in a bucket of oil is it ruined?

Like the title says is this ruined or is there a way to wash it and truly get all of the oil out... obviously I don't want to ruin my car , but it was an expensive drying towel.

You can try washing it with microfiber cleaner. If it is still discolored, chuck it.

Why would you chance using it?..its a towel..ditch it.

What type of oil? But yeah, wouldn't risk it on paint....just save it for door jambs and wheels or maybe inside the house.

good waffle weaves are expensive for "towels" op i would do as suggested to run it in the wash with some mf wash. i use chemical guys mf wash and it works great. i think two runs in the washer should take care of it. check it out and be a good judge if it's still usable or not

lol i know... I have diff levels of towel ... stage 1 , 2 ,3

some i only use on glass... some i use on my bike, etc; haha

I'd try hand washing it in a bucket with some MF wash first. I personally wouldn't want all that oil running through my washing machine. Try to get as much off as you can, then run it through the wash with some MF wash.

i have it in the bathroom sink washed it by hand with detergent, then reslolve, trying to find oxi clean haha otherwise I may just cut it in half since only half of it absorbed the oil

honestly its not the towel cost as much as the process of getting a new one via mail...

Oh and I use regular detergent to wash mf. And in this case I think it would be better as it's typically stronger than mf wash.

Ditch the dirty towel my friend. Use a leaf blower to dry if possible. The less friction on the paint, the better.
