***UPDATE***Case Closed! Got my money back!

I purchased H&R Sport Springs from him last Wednesday and was told he would be shipping them out first thing Friday morning. Since then, I have attempted contacting him 5 times to no avail. Interestingly enough as these things usually go, his last message to me was that he recieved the funds... no forum activity since that day. I have since opened up my Paypal dispute and hope to have my money back within a couple of weeks.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to remind everyone that this is the reason why you never pay for items as 'Gifts' because in doing so, you are giving away your protection benefits from Paypal. Safe shopping and Happy Holidays...

UPDATE: Still no contact from him at all and we have found out that he has scammed people on this forum more than once in the past year and still has not been banned...

According to my Paypal info, his name is Farzan Bahavar (Also possibility of it being Bahavazar) and likely lives in the Santa Monica/LA area. Here is a picture of the scumbag for all interested parties:

Paypal is allowing 14 days and then if no response, which won't happen, the money gets transferred back to me. I've been awarded back over $1400 in bad sales over the past 3 years with Paypal, so this isn't new to me. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up and always protect yourselves!

His post has scam all over it. Hope you get your money back man. Hate for this to happen to me. I always like to make those types of transactions as goods because you have that protection, especially dealing with someone you don't know.

Lesson learned folks. I didn't look at his history and had not seen his thread before I purchased from him, I only knew that he had responded to my WTB thread. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice...

This is not meant to be an I told you so thread but rather one to advise all our honest and decent members to please tread cautiously.

I know Farzan personally for many years and gave him a call he said your springs have been shipped out. He has been having some computer issues and couldn't send you the info you should have your stuff soon

He has my email, my phone number, etc...

I attempted contacting him 5 times with no responses at all. If he was having issues, he should have to another computer. This isn't 1995, there are computers everywhere, even in cell phones. Dispute is open and processing
