Can one of you please trade your E9X M3 back in to Budd's?

I've got the $ burning a hole in my pocket and need to hand it over to Budd's for a 09-11 CPO 6 Spd M3... I cannot bring myself to pick up one of the SMG cars they have in stock.

Been waiting a couple weeks and nothing has come up.

I was hoping to be in the car before Christmas... doesn't look like that is going to happen at this point and my Infiniti is sold and being picked up next weekend.

Not interested in buying from another dealership, we have business / family connections into Budd's that necessitate the purchase from them.

If one of you guys out there is considering it maybe I can connect you to my guy there to put things in order?

Can you ask them to dealer trade for one you want from another GTA dealership? They are a pretty big store and should have some connections to other BMW stores.

Already trying that route but everything is coming up SMG.

They have 4 or 5 of them right now.

I could go coupe or sedan on this btw and will start modding right away

Dude, there is no SMG in e9x M3s, DCT only. How much do you want to spend? There are a couple of 6MT ones here in AB.

DCT/SMG I am not familiar with the lingo but in any event it's not 6 spd.

In my defense all of the brochures on the non-6spd cars at Budds state SMG on them rather than DCT, hence my error.

I was just in yesterday and made a point of checking this out.

in a sense they are both right.
SMG - Sequentual Manual GearBox
DCT - Dual Clutch Transmission

BMW used SMG abbreviation (sp) on E46 and E60 models. Those transmission were not known for reliability. current E9x is still a manual gearbox, but it now has twin clutches. Hence everyone calls it DCT.
