NEW DATA: ESS VT2 625 Dyno Results @7psi: 574.42whp STD

Car and Modifications:
  • 2009 BMW M3
  • ESS VT2-625 Supercharger kit @ 7.0 PSI Boost +Meth
  • Aquamist HFS-3 Methanol Injection
  • Both CAT Delete
  • Gintani X-Pipe
  • Borla Exhaust
  • 93 Octane
  • DCT
Conditions:
  • Temparature:: 51.98 degrees F
  • Atmospheric pressure: 28.90 inHg
  • Humidity: 31%
  • Density Altitude: 2363 Ft.
  • SAE Correction: 0.990
  • STD Correction: 1.018
  • Uncorrected: 1.000
Results:
  • SAE Corrected: 563whp @ 8250 RPM, 374wtq @ 7550 RPM
  • STD Corrected: 577whp, 383wtq
  • Uncorrected: 568whp, 377wtq
Dyno Database:Individual Dyno Results: The legend below has the following meaning:
  • Dyno Run: Dyno run file
  • Timestamp
  • Temp(F) = Temperature (Farenheit)
  • RelH = Relative Humidity
  • Pressure(Hg) = Barometric Pressure
  • DA(ft) = Density Altitude
  • WHP(unc) = Uncorrected wheel horsepower
  • WTQ(unc) = Uncorrected wheel torque
  • WHP(SAEd) = SAE Corrected Horsepower using Dynojet weather station.
  • WTQ(SAEd) = SAE Corrected Torque using Dynojet weather station.

I wanted to run meth off but I left it to see the gains from my last session with new plugs and better conditions. Last session I had 70pct humidity and pulled 519 with bad plugs. Simple plug change and clean air makes a world of difference! Meth from my last session was only making 10whp more. It's more noticeable in the summer when its heatsoaking

Yeah a ton of people compare dyno numbers and really don't understand the differences between Sae and standard so having them all on the same level makes it much easier for everyone.

Just subtract 3 percent. That makes STD very, very close to SAE. This 574 rwhp STD car is maybe 560 rwhp SAE car or very high 550s.
