A local tuner shop is selling their project car. Is it me or this car is overpriced for a 2008? $8k for an Eisenmann Race muffler?

No dont feel dumb lol. your right, its very overpriced. can buy a very nice m3. its fully modded but they can never mark it up cus it has mods. if anything it should lose value imo

they spent 49k on mods but couldnt upgrade the tail lights to LCI or get a diffuser

That car's gonna sit there a while. They're better off doing a part-out and selling the car stock. They'll never get that price for an 08 with 57k miles.

+1, the mileage on that car is too high and telling by the wear on the seats, this car was not really looked after. I bet that engine has been abused.

Illtech is a joke.

Never dealt with them personally. But I've also never heard anything good about them. Their loyal customer base is spoiled rich kids that think things are "mad tyte yo".

illtech hahaha.....over priced everything over there. I am from Seattle and i pass by their shop alot.....65k hahaha let the car rot....they aren't gonna get that unless some retard hops on it.

never heard of illtech but am in the area. arent stop techs 6 pistons the 380 kit not the 355.

The mileage isn't that high but I agree with you that the car should be in the $40000-$47000 range with the mods.

Right, '08s simply can't be at that price in 2013 with those miles and fact the new M3 is coming out in less than year.

Car should be in the low to mid 60k range, however, finding a buyer who wants the car like that will be difficult. A S/Cd M3 with almost 60k miles on the clock...I don't know.

Blah, I'm going to sound like a complete as*hat.. But the car costs ~$60K and you invest ~$40k in it? What on earth are you thinking when you built this car, I don't understand why people would waste this amount of money..

I understand, modding your car to a certain extent, but somethings are absolutely unnecessary. I'm pretty sure there are other, more important things that you could have spent your $40k on...
