I will be doing a photoshoot though. Waiting for my springs to come next week. Might be getting a diffuser too. Not too sure yet.

Has anyone tried the new google acer chromebook? I ordered one to try it out. I just sold my air and feel super lazy carrying my work laptop everywhere. Need something light and small just for internet.

i did at best buy, was not impressed because i wanted a real os that stores files. netbooks are cheaper anyway.

Hmm. I don't have any files. Need it just for internet. I have an netbook. The first one that ever came. Asus eee pc. But its fat, old and a little small at 10 inches. 11.6 should be better. I ordered from tigerdirect since bestbuy is out. So was just asking if anyone has it and liked it. I can always return it I guess if I dont like it. Appreciate ur feedback.

i see, sounds like it's a good fit for you. not a bad machine, but i feel it's overpriced for what you're getting. you said you sold your mac air so i assumed you were looking for a better value. the chromebook is a decent machine (looks like a mac air). but it has to be online, has no file system, and the cpu was noticeably slower than my acer dual-atom. even tablets have storage.

but yeah, you can return it so no loss if you don't like it. did you buy it from sam sung? i kid, i kid

I still cannot justify a tablet that is app based. They are so restrictive that they don't make sense to me at all. I'd rather my M11X laptop.

why not go for a tablet if all you need is internet?

Haha. But for $200 its crazy good deal i think. I sold the air cuz my work provides me with pro. and i used my air like 5-6 times in 1.5 years. So i thought it's just money sitting there for no reason and this is probably the best time to get best money for it. Samsung one is nice but it's not appealing. It's just a copy of air. Acer looks sharp imo.

Ohh sorryy. I thought you checked out my thread I posted a while ago and was just commenting. Yep just wait couple of weeks to at least get my springs on. Red on this car looks good. I never liked red but this car is made for that color. Plus too many white and black's already.

The problem is I have an ipad 3 also. Got it for a gift. Haha. I hate typing on it. I have keyboard too but again its a little small and it's not too stable with the keyboard. Chromebook is something new. Def wanna try it out. If I don't like it then oh well.

200's better... it was $250 when i tried it out. i would pay maybe ~125 for it tops, seeing that the netbooks are now around 200. i have the acer dual-atom 10", acer i7 ultrabook 13.3", hp c2d 15.6", and a quad-xeon mac pro w 2 20's. really no place for a chromebook, or any more computers at that.

Jeez that's a lot. Haha. I just have my work mac pro, old asus eee and ipad 3. Air is gone and so will be ipad. So if I don't wanna carry that 17 inch pro around then chromebook should't be a bad idea. Let's see.

On a different note, how do you guys like the new 4 series coupe. I think its look very nice!! I now believe M4 should be a mean looking machine too. I was planning on getting the 2013 m6 end of next year or mid 2014 max when I get promoted but now i wanna wait and see what M4 looks like.
