Exhaust header gasket - help needed
In the midst of installing an Akra x-pipe and wound up discovering this when I removed the stock midpipe. Driver's side, completely shredded gasket.
![]() Obviously wasn't expecting this so don't have a replacement. This is my daily so would rather finish tonight if possible. Anybody ever run into this or install the pipe without the gasket? (The one on the other side is totally fine.) Appreciate any response tonight. Thanks (and thanks again to pbonsalb for all his help as I've been trying to work through this.)

I replaced mine. They are inexpensive but were'nt in stock.
You may be able to cobble one using muffler tape for the time being....or multiple exhaust gaskets laid together. Maybe take the flange to an auto parts store to see what they have. They don't have to be torque very tight. GL -

That happened to me as well. Installing without he gasket will likely result in an exhaust leak. The dealer had them in stock but I found them at Napa (closer to me). Good Luck!
It's always frustrating when you think you have everything you need to complete a job but don't. It always seems to happen to me at 2AM ![]()

I replaced mine too at 80k km. It seems to be a common issue!

Found the source of the leak, the driver side exhaust header gasket as missing, passenger side was still in decent shape. Dealer must have forgotten to replace when they replaced the transmission.
