FS: ESS VT2-600 Nor Cal
Hello All, Up for sale is a used VT2-600 kit. Most likely it can be upgraded to VT2-625 since VT2-600 is not available anymore from ESS. Please make sure about this with ESS or any authorized dealer. Software will have to be purchased by new owner from either ESS or an authorized dealer. Please see them about price. I will not give a heavy description of the kit since it has been discussed to death. I will just say it is fabulous on the street and works well on the track. Pictures: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=768007 Mileage: ~20,000k Time of Usage: ~18 months Also, since I hardly post if you need references please see Alekshop or anyone that has seen me at the track, I'm pretty honest. Thanks and if you questions feel free to ask. Last edited by ikarishinjikun; 03-12-2013 at 07:18 PM. Reason: price reduction, added picture |

Maybe OP is not the original owner? He doesn't mention this info in the original post.

Hello All,
It appears there are some looming questions about the ESS kit. Please see my answers below. Thanks. Question#1: Are you the original owner of the kit? Answer#1: Yes, I am the original owner of the kit. I purchased the kit in June of 2011 for ~$12-13k which was the going price at the time. I can produce the needed receipts for the buyer if they wish. Question#2: The linked pictures indicate that the kit may have only been on the car for a month, please explain. Answer#2: The linked post with the pictures is a build thread of the car which as been on going for the past two years. I just thought it would be easier to show pictures that way. I can post current pictures of the car with the kit if anyone wishes so. Question#3: So you are selling the kit in under a month does the expectations not meet reality? Answer#3: The kit has been on the car for ~18 months. The kit does meet all my expectations with regards to power and reliability on the street. The kit also provides a great deal of needed power in the straights and hill climbs at the track. I have just decided that I want to turn the car back to its true NA form and aim for pro-driver times at the track without the aid of the supercharger. Please if you have anymore questions feel free to ask. Thanks again. |

You have competition though. Currently there is a 625 Black Edition with FULL 2 year warranty for only $700 after the tune is purchased for your kit. Just FYI!

Well $700 gets the buyer a painted manifold ($1000 option thru ESS) and full 2 year warranty. If you're making buyer pay paypal fee now the difference is only $455. Just stating the facts, thats all.

Valid point... But you're also defending the offer.

^^ good points
There are several kits on the market at the moment. Obviously the one offered by the vendor themselves retains the warranty and is the most attractive at the price point. Anyway, GLWS OP. $7500 would sell it in an instant.

FYI, paypal only charges 3% to people who pays by debit or credit card transaction. If it's a bank to bank transfer, it's free.

Those things are specifically NOT transferable via private party sale. So, yes, the kit being sold by roman is a damn good deal, but it shouldn't be used as a comparison to others. If you're really on the market....buy the kit roman is selling, deals like that are rare.
