2012 Nav Map Update - Page 21

I was in Foothill range the other day and was driving on roads that the 2012 maps had no idea were there... Even took me to the wrong location with an inputted address.

I hope the 2013 maps aren't as bad.

I just got the email too. I hope someone makes ISO soon.
I live in Irvine and they develop a lot every year and having hard time finding new streets/homes. =(

Those are for the CCC idrive. The CIC idrive maps are not out yet.

I just loaded in the 2013 Europe maps and worked like a charm :-).
Got the code from a Russian guy and downloaded the software on 3 DVD+RDL.

CIC 2009 M3

Looks like BMW released both versions now (HDD, DVD). I hope somebody put torrent up soon. =D

That is true. The CIC version is now available!! At tisher bmw its listed for 235.00. Obviously you can get it else where for much cheaper....

Does anyone have ISOs for the 2013 CIC US Map update yet? If so, maybe we can ask member "Kmarei" can do us another big favor and generously host them on his home server again

If you have a 2008 navi, CCC unit, you will need the CCC navigation disk. This thread will not apply to you. When I had my 2008 CCC, I updated to the 2012 disk no problem. I believe the link is somewhere on e90post.com and could be here as well.

For the 2012 maps in this thread (CIC), not only do you need the map disk/usb, but you will also need the FSC code to activate the maps.

I just got an email that there are 2013 maps now? Anyone going to host? Also I don't have the satellite views when I uploaded the maps. Do I have to update my idrive or code it for that? Thanks!

If I paid for an FSC code for the upgrade to 2012 maps, will the same FSC code work for the 2013 maps when available?

Believe you need to update the idrive but coding might take care of it. I don't recall if I saw the option while coding my CIC.

OK guys,
I found a good source for 2013 west coast map DVD from over e90post side.
This is CCC version which means 08 M3s only. No fancy hard drive CIC version.

Also, can anyone tell me why I don't have the 3d sat maps when I'm running the 2012? Is it a coding thing? Never mind it seems a few posts above that its a coding/update thing. My car has not been updated and dealer refuses to update the idrive, dct or ecu to current versions?????
