Great run Adam, I honestly did not expect that result, looks like a clean run as well!

Z06 are very very strong from what im seeing, especially with headers and cams....

bearing in mind , in the uk we dont see the z06 / zr1 alot, from what i see they offer insane performance out of the box.

Theres roughly a 10mph difference in trap speed between those two cars (~135 vs ~125 give a take a few mph each side). Hm...good showing for the M3, makes it look very strong! Can we get exact mods on that vette?

Wow, that m3 is impressive! Before I watched the video I thought the z06 was going to win by a lot. Good to know I was wrong.

What's up guys...yeah this was a complete surprise to me. While it looks like I lost by half a car, it's just the GoPro angle...it was a tie at the cones from what the spectators said.

This Z06 is owned by Robert@Vishnu. The motor is built and made 583 RWHP on a conservative dyno and 615 RWHP on an optimistic one. The Z is also lightened and weighs 3,200 lbs with Robert in it. It's widended and runs 345 tires in the rear. It is one of the most intimidating cars you will ever see.

This same Z06 beat a ZR1 at the Trona Airstrip Attack.

While it looks like he's shifting slow...he really isn't. It's just that the DCT doesn't give up anything on the shift.

This is a nice combo with the DCT and the ESS VT2 600 with the MRF x-pipe. So simple that the car performed flawlessly during the event (can't say that about a lot of other cars) and just makes some great power.

Wait so did the M win? It sounded like the Vette spun a little and then reeled in the M right before the cone. Never mind lol, posted this the same time as Long boarder was apparently posting lol Nice Run!

that did look like a really good race.

Just a side note, might want to edit the title of the thread, Corvettes only have one cam not cams...

You should change the title of this ... It's heads (as in cyl heads) and one camshaft. Not headers and cams...

Ummm, something isnt right here. Stock for stock i put 4+ car lengths on an E92.

If that Z06 makes 583whp and M3 makes 600 crank horsepower this race shouldnt have been close at all.

Slow shifts judging by the sound. There are really very slow shifts.

If those are indeed the numbers, the Z06 should have put bus lenghts on the M3.

DCT makes up the difference. DCT M3's are faster than their MT counterparts.
