BIMMERPOST NEWS
Airstrip Attack: ESS VT600 Supercharged M3 vs Stock F10 M5

COMMENTS

BIMMERPOST once again sponsored the most recent Airstrip Attack, a two day runway shootout race event held at the Coalinga Municipal Airport in Coalinga, California. As before, the event saw some of the most powerful European, Domestic, and Japanese cars from California go head-to-head on a half mile stretch of tarmac. The classes ranged from 400hp+ all the way to 1000hp+

The following race featured a ESS VT600 Supercharged M3 vs Stock F10 M5. Check out the result in the video.

We'll be posting many more shootout videos from the event, so stay tuned to our homepage for updates. Many thanks to DLSJ5 (Drew) for preparing the videos.

Very nice! Most of the gain was early on, looks like about half way through, neither car was gaining or losing any more ground. Probably due to weight not being an issue at the higher speeds.

I may be wrong but from my understanding weight is even more important at higher speeds
