Tracking Military Sales Program (MSP) Build?

Hey all! Does anyone knows how to track the build if ordered thru Military Sales and taking delivery in Germany? I got an order # and Vin # but on BMWNA it won't find the vehicle! I got an email from one of the sales person because my original sales man is out for 2 weeks, saying that my car will be buit by the end of the month and delivered to the dealer 1st week of december. If anyone here have done it please let me know how. Thanks

It's possible that the build is too new to yet show on the site. The site is normally behind actual time.

That might be true! but my order was placed like the 3rd of October. I mean the dealer is tracking it I just wanted to track it myself.

You can't. I've gone through the same thing... Had a VIN and production number. Basically you will find out details as the dealer gets it. It's possible that the Military Sales dealer can call BMW directly and find out what the status is. I even tried calling BMW USA and they can't even track it. Even though it's a US Spec BMW, it's not in any system in the USA.

I actually just found out that mine will be heading up to the UK next week, and I was able to gather that info through my dealer which gets weekly reports from the main dealer in Germany.

Same to you. Did you go through Pentagon or Bavarian? In order to keep my sanity during the delivery process, I've had to order a couple of minor parts. Black Grills and Gills along with the painted reflectors. Gotta dress up my girl before I let her go out on the street.

I ordered mine thru Pentagon even though I traded my 07 335I coupe to Bavarian. Reason I went with Pentagon is their customer service and all the good reviews given by M Flight members and non members. I heard some bad things about Bavarian even from ex employees. I wanted the best experience and hassle free so Pentagon got my busisness. The equity I got with Bavarian I'm using on getting my wife a new F31 before we PCS back to the States. I hear you on the ordering process, I ordered new VMR 710 Matte Black, Paddles replacement, and winter tires to swap the summer ones to the VMR and make the OEM wheels my winter ones. I got a spread sheet with pictures and price of all the parts I'm getting for my Angie!!! LOL

Correct, you can't track your status through Mil Sales. I recently got done with this process and completed delivery last month and I will say that the customer service to include updates I received from PCS is superb. The only problem was the inevitable wait. Once you see your car for the first time it will be worth it!

I know what you mean about the waiting! I'm super anxious already and I still got a longer wait cuz i'm downrange.

The waiting is just as bad when you get the car too. Waiting for the wife to finish her hair so we can go somewhere in the M3..."can't you just wear a hat?"
Waiting for the end of the duty day so I can take the back roads home.
Waiting for the wife to leave for work so I can fly out of the bed, take a world record fast shower, throw on some clothes (who cares if my socks don't match) then hope in the car for a long drive to nowhere.

Yep, the waiting never ends.

Had a coworker just buy from Bavarian after talking to Pentagon. Personnally, the only way I'd buy from Bavarian is for a Munich pick up because from what I've seen on the 335d purchase, their customer service does suck. One thing Bavarian currently offers is a loaner from the day you sign the paperwork until you pick up your car....not a bad deal. They'll also set you up in a hotel if you do a Wurzburg pick up.
