Intro and question

Hello. I was looking for an introduction thread but didn't really see you. Wanted to say hello.

Long time follower of the M3. Have dreamed of one for years and years.I have had a ton of different cars from STi to a Shelby GT500. It is now time for the ultimate dream car.

I am looking for a low mileage or brand new 2013. I am also in the Orange County area. I have a question about dealers and price. So far I have been able to find a dealer that will sell for $1K over invoice. Is that about the going rate or do you guys know better? Other question is there a lot of concern buying a newer low mileage vehicle? Obviously these are high performance cars and even with low mileage that could be a hard few miles.

Oh yeah and I do frequent Cars and Coffee in Irvine a lot (or did) with my other car.

I got it for $500 over. I don't even have it yet. I am so excited. I am going to have to take Tylenol PM to sleep tonight.

Pics coming tonight. Best place to buy the reflector replacements? Showed up to get the car and it had the CF mirrors. I like them. Nice surprise. Just came from a modded Shelby GT500 so I am aware of that virus out there.

After colored reflectors comes a supercharger. Just prepare yourself for that

All you picture freaks. Here are the first horrible ones. The mirror caps were a nice surprise.

I will get some great ones this weekend right after I get the windows tinted.

Well on Saturday I got the windows tinted at my favorite place. Did 35 all the way around. I like it.

Cleaned her up and went for a drive to take some photos.

I am coming from a 12 Shelby GT500. Wow what a different car. I you might have guessed I am now driving a race car instead of a dragster. The GT was crazy fast and very responsive. You had to be very careful driving the car. If you weren't pointed straight and decided to get on it, watch out because the rear was coming right around to kiss you.

I have not really gotten on this car yet. I am a firm believer in proper break in. I however can already tell the balance and the ability to really take some high speed corners.

Still haven't got the stupid garage opener to work but everything else is sweet.

Next on the list are some cosmetic bits. A buddy of mine owns a BMW shop so we are going to do; painted reflectors, CF side gills, CF front splitters (the small ones for the inlet), new angel eyes and the drivers key hole cap. that is it for now.

Xlntint in Anaheim off La Palma. Did the Carbon 35. They have been there forever and I have used them a long time.
