BMW Seattle is blaming my Apex wheels for the vibration I am seeing at 70 MPH. Before my warranty is up in December, I want to determine the true cause of the issue and get it fixed.
What I would like is to borrow someone's OEM wheels and tires. I will provide them with my Apex wheels and tires. They have almost new Michelin Pilot Supersports on them sized 265 in front and 285 in rear. They fit entirely without rubbing. Basically, I would drive it immediately with the new wheel/tire setup, and determine if the same vibration is there. If so, I would need to take it to the dealer to prove that the issue remains with the OEM set and that the problem doesn't lie with the wheels and tires. I know I'm not well known yet forums but I'm an active member on the S2000 forums (urBan_dK there also). If anyone would be willing to help me out with this, please send me a PM. Thanks! |

My car was vibrating at 90mph, the issue was one of the rims inner barrel was bent. Have the wheels balanced.
