Can you show the inside of the rear Brembo rotor? Is the center aluminum? Just wondering how the e-brake works on the Brembo if the center is aluminum.

You can utilize the brake wear sensor on Brembo's? Do the pads have the insert slot to accomodate the sensor clip? Very nice!

This is typical of all BBKs that retain the stock e9x M3 rear parking brake - the parking brake shoe is preloaded against an anodized/chemical-coated Alum drum. I'm running the Performance Friction BBK and I find the parking brake holding power to be very similar to the stock setup.

you can advise your tech that cutting the entire rear shield is not necessary, also the removal of the front shield is not required as well.

Explain what? You may want to retain those shields for the street. If you drive through standing water, your next stop may be a little interesting. Unless the E9X M3 has the auto brake drying feature then those shields are mostly to just keep debris out.

I would cut those shields off if you plan to do a lot of track time.

I believe they are about $350 each for the drilled ones from Zeckhausen. I would imagine prices are similar elsewhere.
