you need to call Andy from "Tint on Wheels." I have used him for years and he does an amazing job (mobile, comes to you) and has a lifetime warranty. If you mention me, he will give you a better deal.

Euro MDM lets you have more angle and slip before the DSC intervenes.
Essentially less babysitting without actually fully turning things off.

For whomever takes their car to East Bay BMW for service, can you recommend a good service adviser? Thanks

Not East Bay, but if you can take it to Fremont... Nick Lal. Good luck with your service needs.

Thank you. Many have recommended him and I will keep him in mind. My 1st choice is east bay as I'm local so hoping they have a good SA there before I go elsewhere

Anyone have a Bavarian Technics diagnostic tool?

Actually any data logging tool should do, but I'd prefer to use the BT pro. If you have one I can borrow/rent, please let me know. TIA.

Just looking to pull codes? Or simply clear them out.

I know this isn't the Fs/Ft section but I just wanted to put it out there that I am looking to trade my set of 220M's for a set of 359M's. check my thread in the fs section for more details

Hey all,

Just saying hi - after a brief, frustrating 2.5 year affair with an Audi A5 (all looks, nothing else), I bought an E93 SSII M3 DCT a week ago, bringing me back to BMW. (and this forum)

Still obviously in the break-in, but managed to have some fun under 5500 rpm today anyway, doing two loops. 1) SF - Woodside - La Honda - Hwy 1 - SF. 2) SF - Golden Gate - Mt Tam - Stinson - Hwy 1 - SF. I was relatively lucky without *too* many slow people or cyclists in front of me except on the way back from Marin.

All I have to say is holy #@$%. I've never owned anything *remotely* close to this car in any way shape or form, including my 06 E90. The noise, the roof, the noise, the acceleration, the noise, the throttle blip on downshifts, instantaneous shifts, and lest I forget, the noise.

I find myself not minding any of the 101 commutes I have to do once or twice a week, as it just gets me closer to 1200 miles :-D
