OP congrats on the new car, it's a beast!!

IMO the GT-R looks good overhall but I prefer the look of the M3!

I'm next in Line bro! Congrats. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I too think gtr looks better than my m. The resale value is rediculously good as well.

The GTR is a beast. I've driven several and ridden on the track as a passenger with advanced drivers. My issue is that its not a good driver's car as far as learning is concerned because you void the warranty if you turn off stability control on the track. So you have a hard time determining what you are doing vrs the electronics. And it feels big. Getting back into my modded M3 I felt like I was driving a Miata. I think the car is best
suited for advanced drivers who can really get to the high limits. I considered a GTR but ended up with a Porsche GT3RS because of the fun factor.

GTR is a glorified point and shoot car. The M3 is a close second. You wanna learn driving? Get a base miata or a lotus with no ABS..that should set your egos on fire.

That being said-Congrats OP! It's hell of an engineering exercise and a definite keeper.

Egoist interior is fugly imo. Belongs in a Bently, not a GT-R.

Don't get me wrong, the Nissan GT-R is an awesome feat of automotive engineering, but a friend of mine that owns one refuses to park near any Chevy Cobalts!

Motor Trend Best Drivers Car of 2011: It came in Second behind the 300k 458 Italia

MT Best Drivers Car of 2012: Slotted in Behind the 991 Carrera S.

My point: It's up there with the best of the best

Man...so tempted to sell my M3 and get a GT-R. The press release from Nissan Japan is suppose to be released Nov 2nd to give all the details on the 2014 Godzilla. If its a big improvement ill wait. But if it isn't then I might be getting a GT-R sooner rather than later.

2014 isn't going to have many changes according to sources. 2015 is where the changes are coming.

Yeah, when I mean a lot of changes, I meant mainly in HP. If they bump it up to 560 HP, and they don't increase MSRP by that much, then waiting for the 2014 is the smart thing rather then getting a 2013 now.

The re-design should be the 2015 or even 2016 model.

Nice wheels! Congratulations.

Funny story though. I swapped parking spaces at my house between my M3 and the GTR. The GTR is now parked in the tighter space, where I have to reverse in a tight S to back out of the gate. I can do it in one move easily with the M3. Couldn't do it in one move with the GTR even with the backup camera. Kinda says a lot about the relative sizes when reversing! Not that this is important, but it was annoying enough that I will be reswapping them.

Huge fan of both though (obviously).

Nice car.
I wish they did something with the front that would match with the aggressiveness of the rear. Still a good looking car- better in real life than in pictures.
ENJOY !

Wow, it is the car from SC. I was there to check out a super slightly use M3 and I saw that car. But I also saw them trashing a GTR during one of there Mitsubishi events. I hope it's not that same one. lol. Anyway those guys are great, they give you good deals.
