You can upgrade the multi wet clutches in the DCT too. The upgrades are rated at 700whp. The multi wet clutches are just as easy to replace as the MT

Please share..I dont ever remember ANY manufacturer stating their drivetrains are good for more than they are rated for at the factory

Good to know then my argument is moot...but to say that stock components can "take it" without consquence doesnt seem realistic. Problems may not manifest themselves right away but they will manifest themselves

OP... Bottom line is that you will not have an issue with DCT with the kit that you are wanting to install. Also, check into the ESS DCT software as it actually helps the performance and life of the clutch. Just search the forums for more details on that as well.

I can find the original document that I read this in, but here is what is printed in the M DCT drivelogic technical paper. 520nm = 384 lb-ft and the stock motor only produces 295 lb-ft, so there is plenty of headroom.
