Was removing cold start worth it? - Page 3

Did mine, at cold start it shook items in the room above the garage and drove my wife crazy. Extremely happy with the option.

I'm planning on removing it because if you have dct, you'll know how shitty it is to drive before it warms up. clutch slips, power is off/on randomly SO ROUGH AND ANNOYING. Plus I don't like the sound, so rattly. This may be different if you have non stock exhaust systems installed. Main reason I want it gone is to smooth out the startup & ride. Apparently cold start causes these issues.

Cold start makes it sounds sick when cold but rattles the sh*t out of my house. And drives like crap but damn it sounds nice with full exhaust

where did you come up with these ideas?

my neighbor to the right has a 800rwhp cobra. neighbor to the left has a TTZ06. neighbor in front of me has f450 pushing 1000rwhp. so no lol.

thats cool. im the only one in my development that has anything interesting. actually all american and japanese cars which is a little bit of a letdown. one crazy lady has a z4 only other german besides my 2.

I had the cold start removed after installing Akra Evo, but ended up replacing a few weeks later because I missed the sound!

I removed mine., damn thing chugs and clunks all over the place but I just sit let the car warm up for a minute or so.

even after you removed cold start? what a disappointment, I thought I could trust the random guy on the internet

I guess I can try it out and just enable cold start again, all the tuners seem really cool about supporting their customers.

I think he meant with the cold start on. Mine is very smooth with it off
