I know, VS was going to make one but they kept brushing it aside for the racing stuff. I understand that, but if you have the manpower capable to fab up a couple metal pipes with flanges on it, just do it, have a manufacturer match the specs, and watch the money come rolling in...not that hard to multitask.

^this times 100...my mechaninc is actually offering to make one for me but I'd rather shell out the cash for one that had a little R&D go into it. It'd be nice if someone could post the specs of the Turner ones, wouldn't be hard to fabricate at that point...

I'm over this. The test pipe caught my attention for what it could at that price point but I'm tired of waiting. I'm biting the bullet and paying for expensive steel pipes

MS just came out with a set for almost $500......I know there's a BMW tax but I think they tacked on a stupidity tax as well, Turner's were under $400. My guess is that the MS ones are lined with Platinum...

I saw it too. I balked at the price. They think it's okay since they are the "only" ones who produce it now. TMS needs to bring it back, stamp a $350 price tag on it, and shit will hit the fan.

LOL, I like spending money if there is a better deal elsewhere, then that's where I will go. I want these pipes. But I don't want to pay the 500 because Id rather put the additional 100 towards a dyno for when I get my car tuned.

I just need a freakin money tree...

Yeah 400, but when they were available at other stores, they could be had for around 375-380..better deal than 495 +20 bucks shipping.

Some are probably reading this thread and saying, "They're nuts for making this an issue over $150." Honestly it's not a question of it's its affordable, it's the principle at issue. These pipes were $350 when Turner had them, now they're $500.....what has changed to make these stainless steel tubes cost more? If someone can provide a legitimate answer, other than price jacking due to being the sole producer, then please chime in. (end of rant...for now)

EXACTLY. I don't care if it is lined with exotic lion semen, just tell me what makes it cost more. I honestly think it is because MS is the only known producer now that they can jack up the price. Not cool and just downright greedy. Drop the price 100-125 bucks and we will talk.

I know--and just because the MS pipes have a suggested msrp price of 495 doesnt mean that EAS or IND has to sell them for that price. Idk, I'm waiting for an email back from ACM who have now moved onto a 3rd party manufacturer to get their test pipes ready for mass production. They said the price will be "very very competitive and better than the current and previous offerings(s).

Guys--I've been talking with Doug (Senior Sales Rep at Turner Motorsport), and apparently the Turner test pipes are on the way back (ready to ship in 3-4 weeks from what he told me). He's offered me a group deal for 10 people to help kick off the new sales. I am going to make a new thread on it to gauge interest, but I wanted to post here first so all the guys here can get first dibs.
