if money is no object then volks no question... however, I got the EC-7s.. they look great and if I screw one up, a replacement will be easy and cheap!

ARC8 is lighter than EC7, but EC7 is suppose to be a little stronger. They look better too , IMO, but they large opening on the ARC8 is to make it easy to change out the wheels. It definitely works since you can get to the bolts VERY easily without worrying about scratching the wheels.

If you're going to consider the TE37-SL, but why not includ the regular TE37? They're suppose to be a true forged wheel, where the SL' don't seem to be.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

TE37s without a doubt because they are forged but this is not an apples to apples comparison because the Volks are almost 3x the cost of the Apex wheels.

the TE37SL use a similar manufacturing process as the ARC-8. for the price of the ARC8, you cannot go wrong.

I had SLs on my M3, and they're definitely lighter than the EC7s on my Z4

if $ is no object, TEs. If money is an issue, EC7s

it is first time learning that TE37SL is NOT a fully forged wheel, can you shed some light as why SL is not versus regular TE37 IS a fully forged wheel, thanks

The SL's are not made using the same 8,000 TON process the regular TE37's are made with. They're still strong and JWL/VIA certified.

Not sure where you are getting this information from, but we have confirmed with RAYS Engineering in Japan that the Super Laps are produced with the exact same forging process as the regular TE37. The only difference is that RAYS shaved down certain areas on the back and center of the wheel to lighten the wheel.

With that said, if you must have a forged wheel, Volk Racing would be the way to go. Otherwise, our wheels have withstood much abuse at the race track over the years for a fraction of the cost and nearly as light.
