Anyone else having this issue with their leather

So saw the passenger front seat had damage like little scratches almost like a cat scratch on the love handle part of the seat. And then today using auto finese leather cleaner all over the car I noticed while cleaning that the drivers side leather looked like it had come off in a little section on the outside of love handle part of drivers seat WTF this cant be right after owning the car for less then a month. Any one else having this problem??? :mad0260

What type of media did you use to clean the leather? Also, I see you have a 2013. I must ask if the car was new or had miles on it?

Pictures would help.

this is probably user caused damage. not you but maybe your passengers? jeans have alot of buttons or other things on them that can easily damage the leather. i don't have anything like that but there definitely are "battle wounds" from the true religion crowd out there that sit in my car

Not probably..definitely..someone with studs or buttons on their clothes scratched the seat..you can repair and dye it..but it wont look 100%

I am going to guess rivets in jeans caused it.

I have to agree with the others....I dont have this on the M, but on the wifey's MDX I have these "lesions" on both drivers and passengers side lumbar support. Funny about the "true religion" comment above....I stopped wearing mine when I noted what it did to my wife's car (sorry honey!)

That's the saddest response of the thread

To the OP, those marks can be fixed w/ a proper dying. Not easy, but worth it if this bothers you.

I am very meticulous Eric. If I have the option, I would have kept the original plastic cover that came on the car from the factory.
