Akrapovic Or Eisenmann? - Page 3

Ps. I know what you mean about "too loud" getting old. 3 years ago when I first bought my truck I threw a Flomaster on it. I was stoked at how loud it was for about 3 weeks, then it just annoyed me. I immediately switced out to a Borla and have been happy ever since. With the Akra on my M I still get a smile every time I start up. Never gets old

i just recently sold my eisenmann race for an akra and to tell you the truth, i love both!

the eisenmann race was a deep deep note, and around 3000 rpm it would drone slightly. i didn't mind the loud exhaust note because i used to have a NSX with a loud (but amazing sound). the akra is mild to me if anything...the only time it's loud is the start up/warm up of the car, it sets off alarms lol.

anyways overall the sound from both, i just like the weight savings and look of the akra, which is why i sold my eisenmann.

Good choice. Also the resale value of the Akra is high and theres a huge demand for it. So if you buy it, use it for a while and then want to sell it you shouldn't have any trouble doing so quickly at a good price.

The titanium of Akra gives a dull hollow sound. Eisenmann sport is the way to go or BMW Performance. I've owned all three. Akra least favorite sound of all three.

If you are comparing Akrapovic vs Eisenmann you shouldnt really compare it to the Eisenmann RACE version since its apples and oranges...

1st, 2nd, and last passes are me with Akra EVO. 3rd pass is Hans with the Performance exhaust. The GTR is Dave and he's got the HKS on his, I'm sure you guys were wondering.

Here we have Dave's GTR, Ashley's Akra? (can't remember), Rice, and then my Akra EVO.

Finally, we have Dave's GTR, Rice, Ashley and Hans with his Performance.

The dealer will have the car as a demo and the sales agent is the one who is going to show the car to other potential buyers. They will service the car accordingly. This is the most reputable Military Sales Dealership in Germany and I know that every person that has bought a car and demoed it thru them didn't have any issues, because of their reputation is why I went with them. Plus most of the M Flight club member can vouch for them!

The akra is really designed to be paired with the x pipe. Without it the slip on seems to me a bit too deep and smooth. Combined with the raspiness of the x pipe it sounds perfect.

I'm really annoyed to have to spend more than 3k for just mufflers though. Couldn't get myself to buy one even though I have the cash in hand. I have that feeling of being ripped off :/
