Extended Warranty
Anyone here purchase an extended warranty? My factory warranty ends at the end of the month. I have an e93 with dct.
Please post prices,length and coverage. thanks |

If you can DIY yourself not worth buying. If you want piece of mind then I would buy it. The E90/92/93 M3s have really had no issues at all. One of the most expensive pieces on your car if not the most expensive is going to be that DCT Tranny.

Yes, I did, but mine is for a e60 M5. Was worth it to me. Every person's situation is different though. Like Pat said, if you DIY, then extended maintenance isn't worth it.
Do a search on this forum, there are plenty of threads about it.

I bought an extended because my car was out of warranty and I have no idea what the previous owner did to the car other than maintainence records but I didn't know the driving style. I did have a PPI and it was clean and the carfax was clean but I wanted some peace of mind.
