Bear Mountain Drive SUNDAY 10/07/12

We are trying to set up another Bear Mountain run before the season is over. Our last run was 2 weeks ago and turned out amazing. I believe we had 2 groups that didn't know about each other running meet up at the same time. It was pure coincidense.

I understand that there is an Xoutpost BBQ that same day. Our plan is to do the bear run and possibly drive straight to the BBQ after the run to meet up with the cool folks from the Xoutpost and grab a bite there. Bring some food with you please if you plan on attending the BBQ.

Haha what's going on dude!? Yea I'd love it if you came along with us. T'was an amazing coincidence that we had the same run planned at the same time at 2 different meeting spots that were 1 block away from each other, LOL


I'll see you at the vitamin shop! I hope the weather isn't too shitty. Don't want to drive in the rain on a mountain slope.... may have to postpone it till next week if its crazy.

We can still go to the Xoutpost BBQ

haha aight. i already told John from motorcepts to speak to the other jon (with the m6). idk if they spoke about it yet or not, but i'd appreciate if you mention it to them. you also said something about being on facebook with them or something? i barely use facebook, but is there some kind of queens facebook thingy where you guys schedule these things?


also, i'd love it if you could come by tomorrow night and meet us at the douglaston meet at 9 PM. it's a great location and should be a nice weekly get together!

This run is still going. Weather forecast says that it will rain late during the day. The run will be early so all good to go. It will be chilli though!

But in a nutshell:

If you want to leave with a few people from Queens and caravan to the final meet spot, than be here: The Vitamin Shoppe, 205-04 Northern Boulevard, Bayside, NY 11360

You have to be at the Vitamine Shoppe by 6;45 THE LATEST. We will LEAVE at 6:45.




If you want to drive directly to the final meet spot, drive here: 98 Roa Hook Rd Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567

Be here at 7:30 - 8:00. We will leave at 8:00 to drive the Mountain.

The run was absolutely amazing. We had 6 - 7 cars there. We drove nearly non stop. My brake actually started fading towards the last 30 mins of the run.

We had an E92 with 650 HP to the wheel there.... ****ing ridiculously fast.


The E46 M3's were holding their ground. As a matter of fact, I was tailgating the M1 when we both were driving at one point. We actually pulled away from the group by a large margin. Not sure if they slowed down on purpose or what , lol. But yea, the M1 was super fast and pulled away from me in the straights but I was on his ass in the curves.


Ray (M1 owner), was nice to see you dude! Hope we can do this again some time.

Oh and we had a little "accident" with a Deer walking by us as we hit the Mountain.... long story short, E92 got a little dent in the hood. Could have been worse

Couple of the Gopro vids I grabbed from todays cruise. I have a lot of other footage, if anyone has a specific section they'd like to see, let me know. Had a great time rolling with everyone today, perfect size group, we need to do this again soon!





PS - just realized the quality of these isn't great, not sure why since they look better on my comp, but I'll look into it tomorrow. Might be the software I used to extract these parts.
