I'm keeping the fat chic sticker on the 2013 M3 Lime Rock Edition.
The car is fat!!!!!!! And I LOVE IT!!!!!!
Most importantly, this is the last batch of the M3 with V8 4.4, priceless.

Lime Rock Edition

Not sure why you'd purchase this special edition somewhat track-oriented car and then option it w/all the luxury features that add weight and detract from the edgier aspects of the machine. To each their own. The iconel exhaust and steering wheel, for me, make the car. Plus, never hurts to have a limited edition BMW M3...esp one of 200. It should have the brake ducts activated...I assume they aren't.

If you look closely at the accessories you listed you could conclude the following:

1) the paint job cost you quote is for one car done on a one time basis. But the true cost for doing 200 cars is going to be, I would say, half of that.

When you sum up the true cost this way, Limerock accessories are worth a lot less than 16k.

One last point. If the base Limerock MSRP is $70,100, what is the base Limerock invoice price? With a 9% markup, it's about $64,000. The difference between the base invoice price of an "off the shelf" M3 ($55,290) and the base invoice price of a Limerock ($64,000) is going to get you close to what the true value is of all those accessories you listed. That would be $8,710.
Just some thoughts to help value the "exclusivity" component of this very beautiful car.

This is the last batch of the M3 with V8 4.4, gota get one. My last M3; 2012 M3 with competition package was side t-bone on the freeway by a truck while I was stuck in traffic; no way out but being hit side on. The 2012 M3 is now a frankstein, bodyshop was unable to find original M3 parts...very very sad to see it go.....

The new 3 series; 2012 and 2013 328, 335, and 335is does NOT drive anything like the M3. The new 3 series are more say...Lexus, Mercedes like. Just my personal opinion.

The special editions in the US don't have the 4.4L out of the GTS/CRT. If it did, this would be a steal at this price. This has the standard 4.0L engine. Sorry to hear about your '12 M3.

Thank you for your thoughtfulness on my 2012 M3 with competition package in jet black. I miss it very much too....

Hell Yeh, I wish it comes equipped standard with the GTS/CRT engine too!!!

Technically the wife and I have 3 M3's and 1 M5, for a total of 4 ///Ms. Unfortunately, we'll probably be selling the E30 M3 soon as we don't use it as much as we should with all the other cars, and someone else can give her the proper love she deserved.

I did drive the E30 to work today. Soooo different than any of the other ///M's.

Factory copied that owner...

I'm just thinking, if they're only making 200, they should be able to sell 200 cars with the GTS body, brakes and suspension. How hard would that be to make?

so as far as i know, lime rock park is pretty strict with their sound limits (88db i believe). i hope this car passes its sound restrictions.
