not sure if they will still produce the edge or edge sport but definately i have not seen the edge or edge sport in our local auto shop... unless they have old stock.
In the case of the TWS, it is just a labeling change. The product is still the same. I have no idea what the difference is with the other non-M oils. Most likely just marketing.

In my car trunk I have the same 1 Litre can as you (came with the car from the dealership since I asked for it).

So it is safe to say USA and Canada is the same.

Unless you get an official word from Castrol, it's all just marketing. Castrol has no incentive to change the formulation of the oil as there are very few buyers of the oil and we're pretty much a captive group anyway.

Can someone explain why Castrol TWS is sold in liters rather than quarts despite the fact that everyone else seems to sell oil in quarts and that's how a car's oil capacity is typically listed, at least here in the US (and the M3 says "Add 1 quart" when it's low)? Given that a liter is more than a quart, I'm guessing that this is a common cause of all of the overfill stories on here: Tech sees the M3's capacity listed as 9.3 quarts, empties 9.3 bottles of this stuff in there (for 9.3 LITERS), and has thus put 9.8 QUARTS into the system, or half a quart too much.

I was at the dealer today and saw the liter bottles on the shelves behind the Parts guys. They said Edge Professional, FWIW.

Is there a difference between these bottles of Castrol 10W-60 and the ones that are for the GT-R?

GT-R uses 0w-40.

I've read a thread where they recommend castrol 10w-60 on the gt-r for lots of track use.

Came across this thread.

Other than different API ratings, SJ vs SM. Also a lower viscosity at 100C for the "newer" oil.

IIRC old TWS is Ester base and "new" is PAO.
