Placed the order 2013 M3 Coupe

Finally I pulled the trigger on new m3..

Specs

2013 m3 E92 coupe
Mineral White
Black leather
Carbon interior trim
M DCT
Competition Pkg
Premium Pkg
Cold weather pkg
Ench Premium Sound
BMW apps
Satellite radio

My dealer was able to grab the car from BMW inventory. The car is production complete and ready to be shipped. I got lucky..no real wait. Should get the car in 3-4 weeks. Already got the vin#.

Interesting comment from the dealer since every BMW is built to order. They don't create generic inventory.

I know they don't...he was able to get the m3 from available list ...he send me several m3 which are build but was not shipped...some of them was for BMW GM...

All I care is I got the car/spec that I wanted..

Dang would definitely be tough letting go of the 550i..what was wrong with it? I drove a friend's and it was incredible.

Yes it had premium sound that I did care...but I'm ok with it.

This is how I got my current car. I didn't want to wait for a custom-built car (due to the summer production holiday), so my dealer snagged a non-Priority 1 car that was already on the boat enroute to US. The car had been ordered by another dealer somewhere, but was not pre-sold. That made it fair game, I suppose.
