car cant be driven. wow what a disaster.

BMW quality is dropping unfortunately. Then again, this is yet more proof BMW turbo engines aren't there yet. First it was the HPFP, now this.

im keeping my M3 and cant trust the turbos

What the hell do the fact that the engines are turbocharged have to do with the oil pump????

BMW has parts suppliers and they are at the mercy of them to deliver a good part. I think it is good that they have identified this problem so quickly before too many of these cars got on the road.

Everyone has quality issues, even Honda and Toyota...... The measure of the company is how they identify and deal with these issues!
