I considered selling my 335 and buying a 350z TT w/ built motor pushing 600rwhp. From what I've read here, stock for stock the z handles better than a 335 and in straight line they are almost equal. Plus I like the way it looks, but thats my opinion.

+1 to everything you said. The Z was at the top of my list for years. I was about to pull the trigger until it got porkier in 05 and the N54 was announced in 06. Looking back at it, I would've probably been happier with the Z but the 3's just easier to live with on a daily basis. The fun to drive factor on the Z is definitely higher than the 3

I see what you guys mean with close performance between the coupe and the 350z but there is not a lot of cars out there that I tested that compete with the 335 sedan (in terms of other sedans that is). I drove a lot of cars and not much could compete. Since I wanted a sedan that made the decision for me.

![]() PS owner claims his car is approx 4 seconds slower than GT cars as is. If he goes FI and push even more HP, there is no way a 335i can keep up on the track. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by jetpilot747; 09-21-2012 at 12:12 AM. Reason: Edit |
