YouTube just runs in the Safari browser for me, which I actually prefer. I'm tired of everything having a damn app (websites in particular.) I don't need 40 apps to visit 40 different web sites. Almost as irritating as most websites forcing you to a POS "mobile" version of their site. Fortunately many of those allow you to click on "full site".

For some weird reason after the update, my phone's loading speed has dropped drastically. Even going to apps like App Store, Apple Store, iTunes, etc. the loading speed is slow. Also in the bimmerpost app, the blue forum button in the top right button is now huge. Also I can't seem to get flyover to work in the new maps app. Also that blue-ish looking outline looks pretty tacky. I liked the classic black.

I never use my phone as an actually navigation. I search an address and follow the directions. No need for a turn by turn navi since I don't put it on my windshield or such.

![]() fckin lol. ![]() After using iOS 6 a little bit more, I came to the conclusion that its a nice incremental upgrade, but nothing ground breaking. Same thing over and over. But that Maps app, the more I use, the more I miss having google maps. I guess I can consider myself an apple fanboy but seriously, as mentioned above, Maps is a "polished turd." Rumor has it that Google has already submitted its own Maps app for iOS in the Apple App store. Hopefully Apple approves it cause i'll be downloading right away.

meh, its not worth loosing my iphone 4 jailbreak again. I'm happy with it as it is right now. Def. not upgrading to the 5 because i love using the snap in adapter in my car ... BMW wont come out with that for a while i'm sure....
I just dont like how big the icons are and the fact that i can customize everything about my phone is why i'm sticking with my 4. |

That is too bad about the loss of Google Maps as the consensus appears to be the same from all the various reviews I've read about the new maps app. Google Maps was probably my most used feature in my old iPhone and current Android phone.

If you guys think google maps is cool, then try a google android phone. Does everything better, except for being an apple product. The trade-off is battery life, but if you use them the same way you should expect similar battery life. I carry a spare battery in my wallet for my JellyBean Nexus

Updated to the new iOS6 on my iPad and I've noticed a MUCH faster drain on my battery. Do not like this. The entire thing runs out not even by day's end. I have to recharge 100% of the battery daily it seems, which I'm sure is bad for the longevity.
Same complaint with the google maps removal. I also want the YouTube app back. Also, I've noticed while watching videos online (say, for example, on the YouTube site), after a couple videos my QuickTime will become disabled. And I have to restart my iPad to regain the ability to play videos. At first I thought it was because I was looking at flash videos, but no...

I haven't seen any increased drain on my battery with iOS 6 and my iPad. That's weird it's happening to you though. Maybe you are running something in the background?

iOS 6 has been out for 5 days and most people hate it. I've been running iOS 6 since June. Also, the maps is NOT that bad, the turn by turn directions are great and I find it a lot better than Google maps. If you don't like it, then switch to Android then you won't have to worry about losing your "PRECIOUS" Google maps.
