I know you select few love the drama which is why you feel the need to immerse yourself in it every time and come to the rescue with the same comments over and over. WHY?

You love your kit that is great I get it, but their are other companies that make a great product as well and you need to come to terms with it. You can't just go around go around with this superiority complex that you are the best and everyone sucks.

Now relax and post a silly smiley next time instead of jumping down mine or anyone else's throat for posting a semi relevant comment.

OP, like roman said check the system/codes first to see if its all running right. I know my buddy sal@autocouture and many others track the living shit out of their blown M3's without a single hiccup. You could also try an upgraded oil cooler

To the Op im sorry for going off topic.
Andrew,

Don't come here making unnecessary comments and name calling like Ess Fanboys and etc..............

You have no business coming in this thread and talking shit and expect it to slide. You should be focusing on sorting out a new motor as a replacement for the car in Cali before the owner put you guys on blast.

Have a good day Sir !

It would be a disservice not to plug our kit when its being called out on having less power. My post was track / supercharger related after all.

Its not like I jumped in to a thread about someone falsely accusing Ess for blowing their engine and plugging our kit. Yes this happened to us did you say anything about it no.

Img you may pm me because I have no idea what you are talking about?

Op: Engine Ice works wonders I would start there first.

i dunno what to say... this thread turned really retarded after a while..

just to defend ess a little bit.

1. i looked at AA,ESS, Evolve, G-power and decided on ESS as i have friends in LA, Singapore, Jakarta and Toronto that have ESS systems and have 0 problems (i cannot comment on track performance as none of those guys i know track)

2. It isnt just ess that overheats at this track. we have a g-power sk II here aswell that lasts about the same as the other ess kits. last time in my stock E46 M3 in Sepang malaysia that thing overheated too. its just asia that gives me these problems.. ive never had a car overheat in my time in toronto and la.. you can see my car list below.. ive tracked all except the civic, cls and sti and only the cars ive had in asia overheat.

3. im 100% sure if u brought an AA kit over here to jakarta it will overheat too.. its the temprature and humidity thats making it overheat.

4. sorry to roman if i created any bad publicity i just wanted to ask other members what they have done. if anything hope this helps you as you have shown that you respond to your customers.

Thanks to everyones suggestions. the car is still in the dealership getting an aeromotions R2 installed while getting a complete checkup. ive decided on trying that water wetter first and hope that helps. if that does not work ill get the m24 and if that still doesnt make me last then ill try meth as a last resort.

Not so sure how meth will be like on this car as my last car with meth was an HPF stage 3 m3. and if you had meth on you better be fully throttling it or the car acts a little funny if u gas half way and let go.

Thank you all for your input on this. but this thread got too off topic for me

ciao!

If you use meth as a charge cooler, there is no tuning change like the HPF kit. All it does is cool the intake charge. There's no timing advancement or anything.

It will significantly lower oil and coolant temps as well.

Cooling the intake charge will cause an advance in timing depending on the conditions.

I understand your proud of winning OLOA. *Good job. *But let's be
clear. *You were losing decisively before somebody ran out of
gas.
Props I guess.

Same track better conditions, your car with meth trapped 6MPH
lower than an ESS car without meth. *There's your 80whp
difference
right there.

You want to talk about heat soak? *I ran more than 50 hot laps on
the drag strip on my car without a hint of overheating. *You got
anything to compare?

Oh, and before I forget, your boy in the "Race the Base" only hit
159.1 MPH in the standing mile. *That's 5-MPH slower than an NA
stroker M3, and only 6.5-MPH faster than NA M3's at the same event
same day. *Care to guess which company holds the M3 standing mile
record by more than 25-MPH above your car? 152.5

It's not that we don't want to believe you that your kit can
outperform others, it's just that we don't see any proof. *Post
some kill videos, or some verified 60-130's, vbox files of
results, drag time slips, impressive standing mile results, etc.
Make us a believer that you can back up the talk with something.

Let's also get one thing straight , me posting My results with my kit doesn't make me a fan boy I'm simply sharring my results so one can compare and see if his car is equal or greater.

M33 I never called you a fan boy. I think you are open minded compared to some of the others which is why I decided to play along with your comment.

You are right we do need more results and hopefully we or a customer can get some to share.

I will bet you regardless of the results I share the outcome will always be the same sadly.

Have a great day guys!

Yeah but the software is the same. Unlike HPF which uses different maps for Meth and no meth and increases power.

So you can just add a properly designed meth kit as a charge cooler and there is no need to adjust the software.

Andrew earlier you said you "understood" ESS fanboys have a long
history of attacks. *You said you've understood it's always that
way. *I think you deleted that comment because I can't find it
now. *I know you got that info from that other douches site
because that's his talking points. *Just one word of advice. *If
you trust anything he says about any topic, you do so at your own
risk. *The part he didn't tell you is why he's banned here...it's
because he started tons of threads attacking ESS when they and
their customers were just minding their own business. *Get to know
him long enough and you won't believe a word he says and you'll
stop going to his site. *When you've finally figured it out and he
can't use you any longer then he'll put you on blast and attack
you just like he does everybody else. *So like I said trust him at
your own risk my friend.

Real world influences happened here. Pouring rain, northern Alberta style, and a trial tune for race fuel that was not dyno tested. Not a excuse for failure but the same field as a plenum popping off or running out of fuel. Things happen and neither of these issues reflect either kits potential.

I have not delete anything nor did I include you in my fan boy comment. I know the forum you are speaking of but I did not reference that site once. All my comments are based on what I have observed on m3post only. In my opinion the ess community "not all" has built up this aggressive attitude towards anyone with a an opinion that is not your own.

To be honest i'm tired of this subject and hopefully you guys are as well.

ciao!
SEI - you need a progressive methanol system. Sounds like you used to have the old "on" "off" meth system. A progressive system works seemslessly, and begins spraying meth whenever you want - say at 1psi, and will progressively spray more and more dependent upon boost. These are great for the track as there is never a dramatic change in torque to unsettle the car.

And you should run 50/50 mix since water will actually do more cooling than the meth, but the meth will give you a higher effective octane and allow the ecu to run a little more timing. 100% meth is dangerous in my opinion.
