Hey M3 Post!

My name is Derek and I drive an 09 E92 M3. I've been surfing m3post for a while now and have finally decided to join. I'm going to start modding again so I definitely want some good opinions. I basically want to build a track car that's still (almost) drive-able on the street. Looking at oz's, hre's and bbs f1's

for the wheels and looking for a way better suspension setup. Bunch of other things in the works it will be a slow and steady race till track season. Looking forward to getting some good advice.

Mean looking M3.

Regarding track mods, suggest that you spend some time on track and recognize where you'd like improvement.

For me it was brakes, then wheels and tires. I find the stiffest EDC setting really quite good.

With decent weather I'll be at Gingerman next Friday evening if you want to check out my setup and join in the fun.

...sure beats drifting around parking lots.

You make a good point, the last time I was at Waterford Hills my brakes failed after about 2 hours of driving..

Luckily their was a lot of grass or I would have gone into the wall at 100. I've been very busy lately but if I have time I will try to make it. (South Haven is more then 2hrs away from me)

Thanks Buddy, throw some tints on her or you can always do an interior swap. There are always M3s parting out interiors in the classifieds for a good price.

Thanks buddy, I've actually owned this car since 2008 but I appreciate it! I'm thinking about swapping for the LCI tails but would probably tint those as well.

I get pulled over here and there, but in the Mid-West (Michigan/Indiana) they are way more lenient. I also have an eye condition (photophobia) that I have a medical note for so when I do get pulled over the cops usually don't bother me.
