I would guess that this concept could create a problem with smaller diameter wheels and/or BBKs. If this were an 18" track wheel fitting over a front BBK, I could see that second/inner valve stem colliding with the caliper body.

the inner's come like this from the manufacture. 1hole for tpms / 1hole for the valve stem.

It's obvious even the experts miss things once in a while...it's clear the second whole is for weight savings purposes. Wait, nope, maybe the crappy economy has hit the wheel market as well...need to make savings somewhere. j/k Normal as everyone else has said.

Usually the manufacturer will supply a base style plug if it has been dual drilled..



This lets you mount the sensor in the correct position in the "drop" of the wheel. Without the plug style you have a valve stem sticking up on the back of the wheel which can create clearance issues, especially with BBK.
