Lip install with screws only??

Hey guys,
I was wondering if there are any lips out there that can be installed with screws only? I would love being able to put on and take off my lip in a 5 min time frame, but with the 3M tape, it's not possible. I'm thinking about this for daily driving and it would be extremely convienent if this was possible. Let me know,
Thanks,
Matt

This would probably all depend on how many screw holes are built into the lip/bumper already. If you were to do a bit of a custom job and maybe add more screw holes into the lip/bumper that look OEM you could probably pull this off.

It probably would be best to reinforce the screw holes to minimize the stress of the plastic-CF interface or just place 1" pieces of tape between holes and deal with a much lesser amount of tape removal.

I think screws would loosen over time with install and removal. You'd probably be better off with nuts and bolts.

You would have to find a way to secure a nut on interior of the bumper so you can remove the splitter easily multiple times without tearing up the plastic. Wood screws are a one time thing lol. You would need a bolt and nut.

If you take the bumper off you could drill holes where you want the splitter mounted, then glue nuts over that hole on the interior side of the bumper, and you'd have decently strong, permanent fasteners that be used multiple times.

hmmm I guess this won't be possible from the responses I'm getting. I have seen a member on e90post use heavy duty velcro to secure his lip and have it easily removable, but the only thing is that you can see the velcro when the lip is off (his car was black so it wasn't as noticeable, but you could still see it).

I guess I'm going to have to go with a more permanent lower profile lip then.
